My overnight workers

How do you log your diary. For the longest time I have been logging while I was awake no matter what day it was. But recently I had a friend tell me that he logs day by day and his calories reset at midnight everyday. Is that way a better way or should I stick with what I am doing? How about some ideas and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

    I am doing it day by day. It's easy to forget some foods that can add up calories. But i understand how life can get in the way.

    Day by day so even though you are working at midnight your calories reset?

    It all works out the same. If you pre-log, add everything that you would eat from 12:00 am until 11:59 pm that day, so on and so forth. If you log it as you eat it, then do that. As long as you pick something consistent, the time of day doesn't matter. We all have the same 24 hours.

    Personally I log from waking up to going to sleep. I don't log as 'times' as such.. It's the only way that I've found that works for me.
