• They charge you extortionate amounts for food items, "$239.99 for 30 meal replacements"

There's no point wasting your money OP. Just count your calories, eat in a caloric deficit and you will lose weight. Save your hard earned money.

Good old moderate calorie deficit with appropriate macros and good exercise are all you need. Consistency over time will win. Every time.
