hello my name is Kathy I'm 28 years old. I am getting ready to have r&y surgery. I'm just looking for other people out in the community that could help with my journey along the way. I will be having my surgery late September of this year 2015. Looking for help and motivation to keep me on track or things I might want to know about wls.

    I had gastric sleeve about a year ago. The bariatric process is quite the journey

    Well I'm still preparing my self for surgery. I have my last appointment next week before insurance looks at it. I am pretty excited but pretty nervous as well. Would you do it all over again if given the chance? Any words of wisdom lol? How long has it been since your surgery?

    Hey Kathy! I'm Maureen! I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy on 12/17/14 and would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. The first few weeks post op are the hardest of course. Add me on MFP or Instagram! Instagram has an awesome WLS community! I'm @zumbamama3 there.
