It was perfectly helpful. There are no "bad" foods, just bad portion sizes of it. Any type of food can be worked into a healthy diet.

So eat what you like, at the calorie goal you have set for yourself, while balancing your chosen ratio of macros. It's that simple.

There ARE no foods you need to avoid, especially not while gaining. It's all fair game. Enjoy!

Avoid no food, eat all the food. (to suit your calorie/macro goals)

We could spend days listing all of the foods you could eat to gain. Especially when you take into account all of the different cultures on this planet. I'm not even sure it would be possible to do. It's far easier to start with foods you like and work them into your calorie and macro goals.

    ^^yep.

The only 'food' you should really try to avoid is artificial trans fats (and that has nothing to do whether you are bulking or not). Other than that, fit what you like into your macros (assuming you get a good amount of micronutrients - which you should have no problem doing on a bulk).

This is the best tip. And make sure to avoid dirt and sticks too.
