You're making nice tasting water, and otherwise wasting your time. Detoxes are a load of crap devised by people who don't give a hoot about your weight or health and only care about their bank balance. Fruity water simply will not and cannot do anything your liver and kidneys don't already do, and if your liver and kidneys are not detoxing your body, you need a doctor, not a drink.

    1) name a toxin - any toxin you are removing from your system
    - clue the detox manufacturers can't so it would be surprising if you can

    2) explain how water with fruit in is superior to water in terms of anything but taste

if you like it drink it

is it a waste of time making it? only if you consider it is going to do something that drinking anything else wouldn't

Drinking water is good for you and it removes sodium from your system as it leaves. Does it remove toxins? If you have toxins, then water would be needed to remove them, but our bodies are far less toxic than some people think. Adding fruit to the water does nothing but make you think it has some magical power so that you drink it in larger quantities.

Will it 'detox' you? No. Does it taste good. Yes!

I make a fruity water every day just because I like it - to me that's not a waste of time, so if you like it just go ahead and enjoy :)
