Increased my weight for my strength training class on Monday, Tuesday is my rest day, and took yesterday off as was feeling bit sore still. Today i'm not so much sore, but rather my muscles feel tight, no matter how much I stretch out. I usually do a body balance class followed by a combat class Thursday evenings, but don't know if it's wise to still go this evening. I'm really don't want to get behind with my workout routine. Is it best to rest, or power through?

I would go. It may help the tight feeling too. I know if I have done a class and my muscles are sore, then a run the following day kind of loosens them off. It's not so easy at first but a few minutes in, and it really is worth it.0

If it is just general soreness, it is probably okay and it might actually help with the soreness. If you have a localized pain somewhere, then you might need to take a break.0

I would but warm up well and take it easy
it should help actually0 -
Body Balance will probably really help you stretch out that tightness. Perhaps see how up to the combat class you feel after that? I know when I'm suffering with after-weights soreness and tightness that keeping moving is the best thing for me.0
