Ideas for what to eat in the mornings when you have no appetite?

    Skipping breakfast is not bad...at all. Eating when you aren't hungry usually is though.

    I know lots of people who don't eat breakfast. I do because I enjoy breakfast but my husband doesn't because it makes him feel sick. As stated above, eating breakfast isn't necessary.

    I'm not big on a sweet breakfast. I either eat egg white omelet loaded with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and salsa.

    Or

    I will top a whole white pita bread with refried beans, sauteed veggies, eggs, cheese and salsa.

    The idea that it "kick starts your metabolism" is clearly garbage -- but that doesn't mean that protein / good nutrition in the morning can't help with concentration, energy, and encourage better food choices later in the day. At least, it does for me.
