anyone out there following a Mediterranean Diet?

"Mediterranean Diet" is pretty broad and to my knowledge there is no official diet. Basically it's eating a lot of veg and some fruit, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean sourced protein...it generally has a very big emphasis on plants.
My diet is somewhat modeled after that, but I eat more protein than I think the typical Mediterranean Diet would call for....but I have a very plant centric diet.0 -
Hi, just starting on fitnesspal. I have been loosely following the Mediterranean diet but plan on following it more closely. I have metabolic syndrome and the Mediterranean diet is recommended for it.0
