    Your picture is fairly useless.

    Just give us your stats; age, height, weight and gender.

    Put your stats here: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

    That's maintenance. If you want to lose weight....eat less than that.

    How about putting your stats into MFP and seeing what it suggests?

    I've just used that fat loss calculator and the results are different from my current mpf settings. Said to lose fat I need to eat 1576 calories a day, whereas mpf profile I'm aiming for 1200.... Just realised the Scooby one is for 0.8lbs loss per week, mpf 2lbs. It's all very confusing. I've been thinking of getting a fitbit to calculate my real BMR/tdee

    MFP will not drop you below 1200 calories for health reasons, so 2 pounds a week is a bit aggressive. Plus, unlike MFP's calculations, TDEE already includes exercise, so you wouldn't be adding the calories in/eating them back.

    OP, how tall are you, what is your goal (lose/maintain/gain), and are you doing that at the amount you're eating?

    @santanethy

    You are comparing different methods.

    MFP is 1200 + exercise calorie burns and that probably isn't even a 1000 calorie deficit (which is required for 2lbs per week loss), but the largest deficit they could give you at your current stats. There used to be a way to see this, but they removed it with the updates to the site a few months ago.

    Scooby's calculator is taking the amount you say you will exercise and giving you a goal that includes some calories for the workouts.

    Your UP total burn is your TDEE, the number of calories to maintain your current weight. If you eat at a reasonable deficit from that, you will lose weight. (In your profile pic, it's 1,739 calories.)

    I'd just go off what MFP says to lose one pound per week. That's what I'm on and it works great. Won't starve myself from a lack of food and just eat what I want; only in moderation. Helps me lose weight quite well and it's something I can do for the rest of my life. Mine is set for 2,110 calories/day.
