just need a bit of help for tonight

aghhhh.... calling on some help, my fellow MFP friends! i know i'm having pizza tonight at a friends (don't know what type :( but have just had a bit of a snack attack (at least on healthy stuff and not on brownies like yesterday) which means i haven't left much room for dinner tonight! i would really like to stay within my calorie allowance- any tips? please help!

(my diary is open- i have logged two generic slices of pizza as an idea :s)

    Enjoy the company of your friends, enjoy the pizza and adjust accordingly for the next day or two. One day of going a little bit over your calorie goal is not going to have a massive impact overall.

    Relax! You've been eating healthy stuff, if your calories are up a bit one day and down the next it really doesn't matter - it's the long term that matters. Some days we are hungrier and need to eat a bit more, other days we want or need less. Enjoy yourself with your friend, eat the pizza and then cut down a bit tomorrow. Even if you have 3 slices of pizza and a drink you aren't going to suddenly put on a load of fat overnight. You probably will feel bloated and will retain water tomorrow because of all the salt in the pizza but that will pass. My calories vary from day to day but I try to keep to an average over the week.

    take a walk/run or do some quick exercises, before going over. Then just limit yourself to 2 slices.

    ah apart from i also didn't mention that i am going out tomorrow with the whole family for fathers day! that's probably not going to be a light meal either!

    ok, i think ill try and drink lots of water between now and during, and see if i can pop in a quick workout of some kind! :s
