12 days may be too short a time to start seeing results, especially if you also started exercising at the same time.
Are you using a food scale to weigh your foods? Are you logging consistently or sporadically?
If you log exercise, are you eating back all of the calories or only a portion?

Think long term, fat lose does not come instantly. The quote "if it was easy everyone would do it" is the reality of fat loss. Every fall i bulk and every winter i cut (lower my bf percentage). Its not easy especially if your a beginner. I dont know your diet so i cant really give you advice but just know to always keep at it and never quit because if you do a year from now your gunna wish you hadn't. If you post your meal plans im sure you can get alot of helpful criticism if its needed, but just some general advice tho is stay low fat if you can, stay away from alot of breads, dont reward yourself with donuts and bad foods every time you exercise and always hit a caloric deficit. If you want more in depth advice i recommend you check out the hodgetwins or chris jones on youtube. (They do use vulgar language just fyi but they know what they are talking about).0

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE, the number of calories to maintain your current weight. If you follow these directions, your daily calorie goal will be TDEE minus a reasonable deficit:
Connect your accounts: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit
Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings
Set your goal to .5 lb. per week for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided
