Are they really any good?
There are that many on the market and some of them are expensive but do they really work? I want to see how many calories I'm burning when doing cardio/boxing/running...I would like to use a monitor because I've read that the stats used in MFP are not accurate..that to me defeats the object!
Any advice will be most appreciated...thanks ☺

Possibly... I've read that the stats used in MFP are not accurate...
The use of MFP is very dependent on self reporting of effort and time, so for many people they're over-reporting their own activities, so the figures are high. Some activities are pretty good, some aren't but equally for those the other tools available aren't all that useful anyway.
