Greetings-
I was wondering how many of you suffer or experience the DP? What do you do about it?
My Endo is aware that I suffer from it. Diabetes is already complicated enough! Last night before bed I tested BS it was 98. Excellent! I did NOT eat anything after that. Ate my dinner at 5:00 tested at 9:00. Went to sleep.
This morning I woke up and tested at 6:00 am. Tested BS it was 132! Not good. I'm very unhappy.
Sadly this will affect my entire day negatively. It makes me coo coo.
Do you suffer from it? What kinds of things do you do about it?
Thanks.

I was diagnosed about two months ago and trying to come to terms with it and the eating changes. I met with a counselor about diet changes and she said having a high reading in the morning means you should have eaten a snack before bed. She also said a low reading in the morning means you have eaten a snack before bed. It makes me crazy. I can't seem to find a good resource that what the readings mean and what action you should take with a high or low reading.
