I have the charge hr and i got a size small. Well I found out that my wrist is a measly 4.11" and the small is pretty big on me being for 5.4"-6.2". Those who have it know that even if you tighten it the actually shape is hard. I am wondering do you think it will still be beneficial and accurate in the readings? and yes my wrists are freakishly small.

From my understanding if you're using the hr monitor function you're supposed to wear it higher up on your arm, so I'm sure that would probably fit better for you too.

measure your ankle, you may be able to wear it there.

Take it back get a zip or a one and wear it in your pocket / bra

Spend the rest on a decent HRM with chest strap to wear during steady state cardio

IMO that will give you an equal, if not more accurate TDEE estimate that you can use over time to judge your weight loss

thanks thats what i figured would be the best option. I have a polar with a chest strap but i don't think it does steps.

If you like a band that does steps, get a flex. Love mine.

Fitbit HR sucks for tracking exercise burn. It tells me I burn the same amount of calories walking for an hour as I do high impact Turbo Fire kickboxing…..seriously?

I really miss my Bodymedia! But, they were bought out by Jawbone and stopped making them. They have new Jawbone "bracelet" ones, but it is pretty much a more expensive fitbit and they only sync with cell phones, very frustrating. Oh well, I am fortunate enough to have had the Bodymedia for years and know what I burn and what I can eat to lose weight

The fun part of fitbit is competing with my friends for steps and all the smilie faces on my dashboard lol Their sleep counter sucks too…….just saying.

Oh and I am really sure it underestimates me as I have it set for 1 pound a week (aka 500 calorie a day deficit) and since owning it, I am losing 1 1/2 - 2 pounds a week! Not a complaint, but kinda proves the inaccuracy to me anyways.
