Ok, so I'm new to this (2 weeks in, 5lb down) can someone tell me what TDEE is and how do I calculate it? I have seen loads of people talking about it. Is it the same as BMR?
Thanks!
Thanks!

it is your Total daily energy expendeture. So basically its your BMR and any activity you've done that day0

Thanks. So my BMR is 1350, do I add exercise cals to that or is it more general? Sorry if I sound dumb!0

Im not sure i fully understand your question. 1350 is that what MFP says you should be eating? If so than yes you should be adding your cal and eating them.0

Put your information into a site like the above or any one of the others floating around. It will give you your BMR and TDEE. To lose weight people generally take a % cut from TDEE, anywhere from 5-20% depending on how much weight they need to lose.0 -

No, mfp say I should eat 1200 for a 1lb loss, I maintain at 1650. I used the bmr calculator and it came out at 1350. Confused? You bet I am! Lol!0
