If you log exercise, it's subtracted.
Just like if you log food, it's added to your calorie consumption.
suggestion... how about you don't log it on mfp, but document it somewhere else?0 -
If you're logging manually change the calories to 1 so it only gives you 1 instead of what you actually burned. If you have a device that is syncing; in the website go into Exercise, click on the entry and edit the calories to 1.0

Or if you're syncing a device unsync it :-)0

if it's from a gadget and uploads itself, just edit it in exercises
if it's something you enter yourself, ie walking / running 45 minutes and mfp calculates this as 600 calories... then edit that
many of us like to keep track of the amount of time we exercise, but don't want over inflated burns
hope thats helped0 -
I upgraded to premium, and now I can stop it from doing that. I am synced with Fitbit, and it was adding way too many calories just for me walking around my house!0

As everybody said, you have three choices:
1. Pay for premium.
2. Unsync your activity tracker.
3. If you aren't using a device, log your exercise as 1 calorie.0
