Is it DOMS or an injury?

This isn't from working out, but I think is similar enough that some of you might be able to help. Tues. and Wed. last week, I was tearing apart an old shed. It was wood mostly, so a lot of prying, lifting, pushing/pulling. Mostly prying, though. Wood pieces nailed together.

On Thurs., I started to feel sore in my right forearm. I thought it was DOMS and would get better. Today, I'm suddenly worse. I barely have the strength to lift a beverage. Is it normal for DOMS to last this long? Could I have torn a muscle or tendon? Should I wait it out a bit longer and see if it improves?

No, DOMS doesn't normally last that long. Sounds like an injury.

DOMS is generally soreness throughout the affected muscle group.
Injury is a specific localized pain.
Sprains begin to hurt worse the farther extended a muscle stretches.

If you have exercised for some time you become aware of the difference between Doms and something that isnt right. It doesnt sound like Doms and you should rest it to see of it heals by itself or starts to improve. If its still hurting, then you have to make a choice about whether it warrants going to the Drs.
