How did I do that? Is it a big deal? I thought protein was so good for you. Will eating too much make me not lose as much weight? Does anyone know? TIA!

From everything that I have read and been told it's not that bad if you go over on your protein. It helps you build muscle and muscle helps you burn more fat. MFP has allotted me 55 protein and I try to get 65 (that is what I was told that I needed with nursing and everything).0

I eat between 80 and 100 grams of protein a day and I'm loosing weight and building muscle. MFP has a really low amount for protein and I've actually gone on to goals and changed it to 75 grams a day. You need protein to keep the munchies and cravings away.0

I second that. I kept going over on protein all the time. MFP's preset allocation is heavily weighted to carbs. I personally changed it to 40/30/30. If you search the topics on the message boards you'll see lots of posts about this.0
