Accurate online body fat calculator

I know I won't get a completely accurate % of body fat unless I have it tested hydrostatically.

But I was wondering if anyone has used a calcilator online that is relatively accurate?

Thanks in advance :)

If you use calipers, you can use Scooby's Workshop's calculator.

If you use body tape, you can use the calculations on this site. It doesn't do the calculations on the site, but you can put the formulas into Google Docs or Excel easily.

Even hydrostatic has substantial error bars.

There really isn't any foolproof method. Best you can hope for is using one method consistently, and double checking against the mirror and scale.

I've used this one before. weightrainer.net/circbf.html
When comparing it to a DEXA scan, I wound up having that calculator just two pounds less than the DEXA on determining lean body mass.

Is a Dexa scan so useful? I consider paying for one as I'm curious what my bodyfat % is as I have rather wide bones for a woman and tape measure doesn't really cut it there. Plus I have rather low calcium a few months back. I want to know what the status is of my bones

For the density of the bones, you can get a bone density scan done. Not sure about the dexa though.

That gives me exactly what my brother's horrid bf scale does. Which is good. I guess.
