Protein Metabolic Type: macro ideas?!

Hi, I'm new to all this high protein. I did a metabolic type test and am Protein type, think I must be protein deficient as I've been 4 years raw food and mostly vegan.
I'd like some guidance as to good macro for this and thoughts on using plant protein & how to's! Thank you!! x

Macros are hard for me to say, but I'd say just eat more nuts and seeds and fruits high in protein as well as high protein leafy greens!0

Lots of whole food vegan options OP... quinoa, peas, nuts and nut butters, beans, tempeh, tofu, soy beans, hemp, seeds, non dairy milks, seitan.
For convenience there's a lot of good vegan protein powder's available.

Metabolic typing is pseudo science and meaningless as with anything Dr Oz likes. Just eat a varied diet of mainly wholefoods within your calorie goals. As a long term vegan it's not hard to get sufficient protein without any difficulty. Don't make it more difficult than it needs be by using dodgy fad diet ideas0

I hope this was an online test, along with blood type diet, star sign diet etc and not something you actually gave money for. I also hope this is a fun question and you are not really considering changing your eating style based on a complete nonsense test.0

Yeah, it is the newest pseudoscience like eating for your blood type, etc.
OP: do you feel hungry all of the time? Consider raising your protein and/or fat. Do you feel tired and lethargic? Consider raising your carbs. Listen to your body and how it feels on different macro mixes and go with what gives you energy, satisfies you, and generally makes you feel the best. Don't listen to some made up test.0 -
Thanks for your views people, I've been raw (laterly vegan) for 4 years and vegetarian for most of my life. I've suffered chronic fatigue, and since eating more protein and meat & dairy and dropped to low carbs, I've noticed a huge difference in how I feel, so at this point it's hard for me to call it pseudoscience right now.0

Yes I have. Although not falling in the anaemic bracket, my iron has been low.
I have tried iron supplements on and off, but this was a very quick turnaround, within a couple of days, so perhaps not long enough to affect iron levels?0 -

I'm glad you're feeling so much better. I was a vegetarian for 12 years and got to a similarly fatigued point too. I started eating meat again and haven't looked back. Looks like meat and dairy are the right thing for you. But I didn't need an online test to tell you that.Good luck!
