So one of my favourite sports jackets no longer fits me, it looks way too big. Yay. But it was awfully expensive and was about to chuck it into a charity shop (where it would get 10 eurs) when my wife suggested that I ask a tailor if they could do anything. The best 18 eurs I have ever spent. It fits like a glove and looks super smart.
I'm still going to buy an obscenely expensive Ermengildo Zenga suit when I hit my target weight but in the meantine, bring your expensive clothes to a tailor. Don't throw them out. It will make you feel really great and you don't have to spend ridiculous money, or buy cheap crap that doesn't look good.

I lost 16 pounds with MFP 2 years ago, I did the same re tailoring with my favorite outfits.
