I like to have a treat type thing. Diet and exercise is work for the long haul. They are good tasting and I like the nutrient mix.0 -

They dont, but fiber is not-digestable anyway. Theoretically if you're eating fruits and vegetables and have no problems with digestion there's no reason to worry about the fiber content.
Also, things i suggested have a better calorie to protein ratio. Considering it is a protein supplement that should be the main concern anyway. Chicken breast having 140 cals to 27g protein, Tilapia having 104 cals for 22g protein, Greek yogurt having 150 cals for 22g protein.
Again, it all depends on how you're looking at food here.
I don't see how this matters, if you are eating literally anything else in your diet.... Or how one ingredient in a food all of a sudden makes it "better" or "worse". Again, especially considering this is a protein supplement.
It comes up because you shouldn't assume fiber is undigested.
The biggest issues that comes up for Quest bars specifically is some diabetics rely on fiber slowing down digestion of protein and sugar. The ogliosacharides Quest uses for fiber don't work that way - instead diabetics get a large glucose spike eating them. So for some people, yes, the type of fiber is better or worse.0 -

I've only had them a few times, but the last one I ate gave me a pretty upset stomach, which freaked me out because I am one of those people who never gets an upset stomach. I've been hesitant to try another one, though I would really like to use them as an easy option to boost my protein percentage on some days.
Alternatively, you might just plain have a low fiber diet to begin with and it is a surge of fiber in comparison.

They just do a job like other forms of food do. I've never had them but have tried other protein bars and they are not great (Maybe Peanut butter Cliff Bars are OK). I've heard that Quest Bars go to another level after 15 seconds in the microwave. That my be a myth though.0

Two words - Fiber. Protein.
I am on a higher fiber diet per my GI and surgeon. 17g of fiber helps A LOT. I also really really suck at getting enough protein in without getting burned out on Greek yogurt, chicken, and tuna.0 -

I like the white chocolate and raspberry ones the best. However, I was recently talked into buying the chocolate shake protein powder. Not bad protein for only 110 calories but, the taste is horrible. Well, not horrible but more like very VERY watered down chocolate milk. I keep wanting to add Hershey's syrup but, that would defeat the purpose, I guess. Live and learn. As soon as the powder is gone, I will back to the bars.0

I think that they "hype" is that they make pretty decent products that actually taste good (I think). Except for those peanut butter cups. Ugh.

I can't seem to get with the Quest program. I don't like their bars. I have tried oreo, cinnamon roll and strawberry cheesecake. HATE them all. Is the cookie dough any good?0

If you didn't like any of those, chances are you aren't going to fall in love with cookie dough either, though if you do try it, I'd recommend taking it out of the wrapper, putting it on a plate, and microwaving it for 5-10 seconds to get the chocolate a little gooey.0
