Reducing calories

hi, I have lost 11 pounds over my first 5 weeks. However, in the past 8 days I have not lost anything so MFP has now lowered my calories by 70 a day. Is this to help me continue to lose? I have about 4 stone to lose so it's quite a lot.

MFP lowered your calories? I guess it's because you've lost more than 10 pounds, but that's usually after they prompt you to change it.
If you haven't lost anything for 8 days, that's okay. Stalls happen. But make sure you're weighing your solids, measuring your liquids, and using the recipe builder instead of homemade or generic entries.0 -
Don't worry about not losing if you stay honest and keep within the calories it will move again. I've stalled twice and just plugged away at it then boom 4 lb gone in 1 day. As for the calorie reduction mine did that too but then changed back a couple of days later. If you exercise you will earn more calories. I tend not to eat those though.0
