Difference between premium verse free

I'm looking for feedback as to whether or not purchasing the premium is worth it. I go back between my tablet, computer and phone to log food. I am looking for a good food journal to keep me accountable, a good community, easy to use and fun application. I'm deciding between my fitness pal and sparkpeople. Any suggestions, ideas, and opinions on the application best for me would be appreciated. I think they are both good but both have pros and cons. I'm open to becoming friends with anyone in similar situation to discuss options. I like the food journal ing in my fitness pal but sparkpeople seems to be append little more motivating which may Bute my lack of skills working the site! :) Thanks, Michelle
