Alcohol macros

So I'm gonna drink tonight. Probably a few shots of whiskey on ice. Anyone know what macros make up liquor? The log doesn't really show.

    Correcting my original post.

    Alcohol will not satisfy any of your macro goals, but it does have calories.

    Alcohol is alcohol, doesn't fit into any of your macros, about 64 cals in 1 oz 80 proof. Beer or wine also has sugars or carbs, but the alcohol content is it's own thing.

    It's roughly 7 calories per gram. I would pull your calories from carbs of fats if you're looking to still be in a deficit.

    If you're gonna drink, don't trip over calories..drink if you wanna drink. It's already a bad habit. These threads make no sense about calories in alcohol, they're insanely stupid. The last thing on my mind when I drink is "oh boy, this shot of vodka is 200 calories, I should stop because I'll go over my daily limit!" smh lol.

    There is nothing wrong with learning how to drink moderately and fit it into your goals.

    Well i was just curious..I assumed it was carbs, since it's made from plant products mostly.6 shots down..I better drink a lot of water =)

    Well, to be technical about it, alcohol is a toxin (actual toxin) made by yeasts metabolizing sugars to fend off competition by other fungus' and microbes. So yeah....TOXINS!!!!!!!

    I am working with a nutritionist and he says to take the calories, divide it by 4, and that add that to your carb total.
