GERD/Acid Reflux diet?

I was diagnosed with severe acid reflux about 14 years ago (severe because my entire esophogus was covered in ulcers from it when I was 7), and have had it since. I have recently had a very bad series of flair-ups that sent me to the hospital and had me rethinking my lifestyle choices. My flair-ups consisted of severe stomach cramping (the pain would be dull and then gradually increase and then go back to being painless/dull again, and this process would repeat many times) and chest pains along with nausea. I had to be very careful today with what I ate, but the flair-ups still happened, mostly around evening/nighttime.

The purpose of my typing this is not to be diagnosed (though if you happen to know anything about what this could potentially be, please do not hesitate to give suggestions, for I am still in the process of figuring this out), but to figure out what kinds of foods would not irritate my stomach at this point. Rice seems to be fine to eat, and so does Jello and pudding. That's about it so far. Heavily-salted foods, dairy, and fried and spicy foods upset my stomach right now. I'm sure more can bed added to this list.

My question to you, the good people of MFP, is this:
What kinds of foods would be okay for someone with my condition to eat? What kinds of foods would you think not upset my stomach? Non-acidic foods? No high sodium or cholesterol foods? No oily foods? No greasy, fried, or any processed of the like foods?

If anyone has any recipe suggestions, post them here!
Thank you for any and all suggestions!
