Atm I generally have 1 slice with my breakfast and a sandwich for lunch. And I eat whole wheat/whenever I can. Not sure whether I should cutting bread, or limiting how much I have. If so is this too much?

I'm not sure? I eat one slice of Dave' Killer Bread in the morning. I would probably eat more but I'm worried about carbs. Yikes. I'm new here so I am no expert. What kind of bread are you eating?

If it fits into your calories and doesn't hinder hitting your fat/protein goals, then it isn't too much.

    This.

There isn't a straight up limit on slices of bread or on carbs (if that's the reason why you are concerned) when it comes to weight loss. Staying inside of your calorie limit is the key.

If bread is something that you can see giving up forever, then fine. For me this needs to be about lifestyle changes. I've lost weight then gone back to "regular" eating habits, and re-gained it.

Just try to meet your macros. If you are meeting protein and fat goals.....carry on. If bread is crowding out something else, then it's too much.

I have a slice of toast in the morning, a slice of bread as a sandwich for lunch, and often a slice with cheese for a bedtime snack. If I have a burger for dinner, I will have a bun also. I work it in. If I know I will be having that bun or a wrap with dinner, I may forego the fruit with lunch to keep my carb macro close to target. Hasn't hurt me yet:

You can eat as much bread as you want as long as it is within your carb limits, and given that you meet daily fibre and nutrient requirements.

I.e. If you're eating 100g Protein, 200g carbs and 50g fats each day. If you choose to use 100g carbs on breads, then that's totally fine, as long as you're hitting at least 25g fibre, 3-5 serves veggies and 1-2 serves fruit.

Your body does not know the difference between 50g carbs from rice and 50g carbs from wholewheat bread.

You can lose weight eating bread and nothing but bread. The simple formula is to eat less calories than your body burns.

All of the above is true, BUT...I have found that FOR ME, eating a lot of bread or other grain-based carbs makes me crave more, which can lead to eating over my calorie allowance. I have swapped most (not all) grain-based carbs for carbs from fruits and veggies. So you may want to play around with this and see if it makes a difference for you.

Does it fit in your calories

I eat white bread, basmati rice, noodles every day

I chow down about 300g carbs ...I'm at maintenance

Eat the amount you want that fits in your calorie goal.
It doesn't sound like you are eating an amount that keeps you from eating other foods so I wouldn't change anything.
