Does anyone have experience with low carb days? I'm considering adding two low carb days a week to help weight loss. I'm stalling a bit after losing 30lbs and don't want to cut more calories. I've upped my workouts but I feel I could add a few low carb days fairly easily if it might help. Thoughts?

Cutting carbs without cutting calories will not affect weight loss.

Hmm. That's fair. I did a low carb diet ten years ago and it was so easy to drop those 15lbs. I wasn't counting calories back back then so I don't have that as a reference. While the weight came off easily, it wasn't a sustainable diet. Sustainable is my goal. It's very possible that low carb days would result in less calories anyway and it's just my way of thinking about those meal plans. If I'm under my calorie goal for the day, I don't hit the fridge just to up my calories.

Yes, if low carb results in less calories, it's a very viable option.

However, since you've found it unsustainable in the past, I'd question why go down that road again? Maybe just track your overall calories and cut a little bit of everything out?

OP I utilize carb cycling and found it to be great for lowering body fat.

Maybe, maybe not. Immaterial either way.

OP specifically asked about weight loss, not body composition.
