My daughter recently did a Sugar free Pillsbury box cake that was pretty good. She made a regular cake and a sugar free chocolate on chocolate and the sugar free actually finished 1st. It was for nurses week at my work, but typically we nurses don't go after the low cal stuff 1st.0

You can substitute the oil and eggs in a box cake mix for a can of diet soda. Bakes up the same but you're losing the calories from the oil and eggs. I make it all the time and I think it's just as good. Use diet Sprite or 7-Up for light cake mixes, and diet Coke for chocolate mixes.
Angel food cake is pretty low calorie, too, even the ones you buy in the stores that are already made.
Instead of frosting, serve it topped with fresh fruit.0
