Attractive comes more than looks when you get older. Sometimes attractive can include your clothes; and or character, material possesions, hair, makeup, and your goals in life.
I feel when we're younger its more about the looks and as we get older we realise there is more to a person and take their personality into consideration

I seen men that were attractive but i didn't want to become intimate with them. It really depends in how you presented yourself.

same here. i can say brad pitt's a good looking dude and that be all it is. i can say that megan fox is attractive, but she doesn't get my motor running either.

context matters too. if its some rando here on the boards, doesn't mean all that much. if its a girl i know, and she's humping my leg and saying she loves tall dudes and she says i'm "attractive"...that might be taken another way.

Well okay, I see how it is now! I thought we were something special! :'(

    its not you its me

    That's what they always say...:(

    they want to *kitten* you
I honestly would think the exact same thing XD

Ditto. But then again I was never complimented at all growing up so my mind might be a tad warped .
Lol same here I'd second guess them and look deeper into what they said. The other day a guy told me I looked like a barbie doll and I was contemplating whether he meant it in a good or bad way . BTW you are an attractive person :) keep smiling
Quick! @bizgirl26 tell us how you interpret this!
    ;)

    Haha XD

    It depends on the context:
    Where were you?
Who else (if anyone) heard it?
What was the very next thing they said to you?

    For example...
If a girl told me she thought I was attractive [a] amongst a group of people, in a venue where any of them could hear it, and the next thing she said was "your welcome" (assuming I said "thank you") -or- in a one-on-one conversation regardless of the place or present company, meant only for me to hear it, and the next thing she said was "thank you, really?" (assuming I said "thank you. You're very attractive too")

If someone told you that you were attractive. How would you interpret that meaning
