Hello everyone. I'm starting weight was 230 lbs and as of today I am down to 185 lbs. That is a big lost for me and I know I have ways to go. I started my journey on Oct. 11, 2012. From Jan to beginning of May I didn't exercise. From Jan to April I was completing an internship with a full-time job. So, needless to say I didn't have much time in schedule to workout. Then on April 20th my 16 year old nephew was struck by a truck and lost the fight for his life. So, it has been an emotional rollercoaster for me.

As far as nutrition and exercise, I immediately eliminated soda and sugary drinks. I am really surprised because I loved my cherry coke! That was one of the main reason why I gained so much weight. I literally would drink a two liter every single day, but no more! I drink water...water...water! I eliminated pasta. Now when I want pasta I substitute it with spaghetti squash. Instead of canned vegetables, it's always fresh and frozen. No canned fruit, it's always fresh. When I started exercising, I started with 30 day shred and lost 7 inches. After that I started walking alot. Once I got back to exercising, I started a spinning class. I go to spinning two days a week for an hour each and I go to the gym twice a week for two hours. I also started ChaLean Extreme and I'll be on week 3 monday. I absolutely love cextreme, it has really started changing my body composition.

    Well done on your progress! So sad about your nephew but I'm glad that you have taken a positive approach with your diet and exercise as such tragedies can easily make us turn the other way. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing further updates.
