I am starting a new job and I am also trying to get healthy. (I do really good and then screw up and start over a lot). The job will be from 7 pm to 7 am and I was curious what kind of snacks or "lunch" should I pack to keep energy up and not just kill it with calories? I am also diabetic

Make extra when you are making dinner. Bring that for lunch. Also,
-cottage cheese/ yogurt/ ricotta cheese with nuts and/or fruit
-small hamburger with cheese cooked the night before (no bun)
-deli slices of turkey/ham/chicken that you can roll up with cheese or pickles or any vegetable
-cut up vegetables: broccoli, squash, carrots, cucumber, asparagus

My favorite work snacks used to be light mozzarella string cheese (usually 70 cals), plain microwave popcorn (you can get prepackaged 100cal packs that are pretty decent size if you have access to a microwave at work), carrot sticks, cottage cheese, tangerines, sometimes Clif or other types of energy bars if you have enough calories to spare. And of course my favorite staple is coffee/tea which I feel helps cut down on my hunger and cravings.
