New guy in NW Indiana

Hello everyone,
My name is Luey and I am, once again, trying to get ride of some weight.
Started last week at 240lbs, first week down to 234.5lbs. Just walking for now, watching my diet. Got the fitbit and I have been getting my 10k steps in all but 1 day, so I think it is a good start.

I will like to get down to 198lbs, be able to run a 5k, but ultimately a 26.2 race.

I also like to use a kettlebell and body weight exercises, can you recommend an app to track my workouts? something compatible with myfitnesspal.
