Runners: Do I always need to run in my custom insoles?

I have a foot crushing injury from a horse and had physical therapy. It caused me to now pronate when I run on the injured side so I got custom insoles. But I got some brooks running shoes and the brooks insole feels plush. Is it okay to run in the brooks insole and use my insoles in my racing shoe etc? The insole is designed to reduce my pronation. Thanks everyone

Always use your insoles. They should be cut to exactly fit your foot and the ones in the shoes may not fit and may not correct the issue you're having.

Thanks, one pair of shoes doesn't feel so good with the insoles. But insoles are good in my other 2 pairs.0
