I've watched them all. I enjoyed the third one over the other two.

I love the movies. Have you seen 'Culture in decline'?
It's all on Youtube, It's a more light hearted show that breaks it into little chunks.

Well you sure are going to pi$$ some people off most probably...but I also love them.

Edited for: while I'm here this is one of my favorite pics.
People will either get it or they won't (It is not in anyway meant as a dig at people that are overweight)
Sorry I forgot to re-size it , you will have to right click/view-image to see whole pic and metaphor.

There's a lot of basic inaccuracies in this series of films posing as documentaries, and plenty of crazy, unfounded conspiracy theories. They're compelling, but some of the best lies are.

One site goes through it point by point... http://conspiracies.skepticproject.com/articles/zeitgeist/

i have heard peter joseph speak on a few podcasts and i kind of find it hard to believe this opening bit...

Peter Joseph (creator of Zeitgeist) believes that I'm mentally ill because I disagree with him. You can read all about it on his forums (linked from this forum post), with a blog-based rebuttal here. You better not disagree with him, or you'll be labeled insane next. Perhaps I'm crazy for pointing out his forum post?

will still read link when i can

I saw a section of Zeitgeist, the part about Jesus resembling Gods throughout history, and it turns out the "facts" in this documentary are not facts at all. Simple research proves it all wrong.

That's the thing about the film (well, the first one... I couldn't stomach the followups) ... it presents things in an oddly compelling fashion. It starts out with the crazy religious things, and builds steadily into other areas to establish that "They are lying to you, man!" It's straight up propaganda.

The right soundtrack, with the right dialogue, with some interesting animations... apparently you can get people to believe just about anything! They watch this and think it's cutting edge and controversial, when it's, in fact, blatant mistruths. Like I said, simple research.
