Who's actually done this and has gotten solid results from it? As in solid lean gains with little fat. And would you recommend it?

The current research data suggests that carb distribution throughout the day really does not affect long term gains in lean body mass. Your total nutrition and training are much more important. Certainly having more carbs around your workout will help you push harder and recover quicker, but saving carbs for the evening really doesn't make a difference.0
