Good morning! So I've been trying to kickstart myself for quite a while now... I had 2 ankle surgeries in 2012 and that threw everything off... Well I started lifting again on June 1 and started logging my food about 7 days ago. I'm following the exercise plan from the New Rules of Lifting for Women and using TDEE - 20% (my first attempt at finding the correct TDEE)...

So I knew I would possibly gain at first and tried to stay off the scale and when I did step on, tried to ignore it and remember how good I'm feeling...

But I forgot something. Measuring inches.

So this morning I measured again and holy smokes... I've lost an inch from my waist and one from my thigh and one from my hips...

And gained 2 pounds. Lol.

As several of the blogs I've been reading have state... It takes time. So I've decided I'm in this to win this - it may take 2 years to get where I want to be... Or less. It doesn't matter. I'm not quitting.
