where is the most accurate place to see how many calories I burn through exercise

Calorie burn depends upon many, many factors (height, weight, age, gender, exertion level & more). If you are looking for a decent estimate for steady state cardio a heart rate monitor might be a good investment.
It's really going to depend upon the type of workouts you do. Some workouts are next to impossible to measure (outside of a lab). MFP estimates tend to be generous, so many users start by eating back 50% and increase or decrease depending upon progress.
If your exercise is consistent you might look up TDEE, that's your maintenance with exercise. Then just take a cut off of that number.0
