Food relapse..

I am struggling so bad with food!
I exercise everyday and know what to eat but I had a major relapse this weekend and ate so much of the unthinkable.. This keeps happening to me since the start of the year and it is why I can't loose weight, I go great for a few weeks than BAM bad food. Sometimes I don't even want the food I think its just the principle of wanted to just eat what I want for once!
Doesn't help having a boyfriend that can eat whatever he wants and stay tiny! I can't even button his trousers on me (yes I've tried!)
Bit fed up!

Hey you just added me , i posted on your page. Im curious when you say massive binge , how bad we talking? Because you can always replace the crap with something a bit better? Theres always a alternative. I checked your food diary to , in my opinion your not eating enough threw out the day , thats why you binged so hard.
Up the protein , which fills you up.
Lower the carbs , see im not that strict with bread , but limit it to 4 slices a day if you can.
With me i found the other lifestyle plans weren't working because i wasn't getting full enough. Then i ended up snacking on crap. You have to allow yourself a treat every now and then. Like fish and chips once a week? And slower limit the portions.
One of the best things for me is Jelly , its sweet its like 3 kals per small pot and i can eat as much as i want. Nothing in it at all...0 -
Yeah I just seen it and posted there what I ate this weekend, btw how do you view someones diary, I can't seem to find it? This is what's strange everytime I post what I eat on here it almost always says I'm not eating enough but I feel quite full and if I posted any more I feel like I've ate loads and I'm stuffed!!
Lowering the carbs seems to have worked as a few weeks ago I lost 5lbs by doing it so I'm trying to have them with just lunch or dinner, I just love noodles and rice too much!
Jelly sounds like a good idea! But the sugar in that may worry me a bit, as I am taking part in a bootcamp at my gym now and spoke to the personal trainer and he gave me into trouble for Jordan's cereal I used to eat cos it had too much sugar in it and he was right! So now I'm wary about that too.
I'm normally fine with not snacking at all I think I just had a moment of anger and jealousy of all the people who don't have the hassle of not having to constantly think out their food and feel guilty for eating bad things, and had a very rebellious moment, I don't think it helped that I was with my boyfriend who can eat whatever he wants and stay skinny.

Its sweeteners in Jelly , a lot of people might argue its still bad , but ive lost just under 3 stone eating jelly 3 to 4 times a week. No added sugar , you get like 6 for 2 pounds in tesco. I like the pots because i can monitor the amount.
And as for your boyfriend , my girlfriend is a twig , shes like 8 stone. She can eat what ever she wants and not get bigger. Ive asked her nicely if she wants chocolate to go out and buy it rather than leaving it in the house when i first started my diet.0 -
I think the issue is that I never normally ate bad food it was all home cooked meals and not very big portions and I'd occasionally have the wee milkyway or something and I think I'm getting to the stage where if I want to loose weight I have to really tighten the diet and be very strict That's a great weight loss, well done ! When did you begin?
It's so irritating! I feel mean sometimes because I complain at him for it when I know it isn't his fault, it does make things harder though as if I stay at his house he has very different food in the house so it is a struggle to find something appropriate for me to eat, ive even started taking food in boxes there!0 -
You just need to talk to him , its a 2 way street in any relationship. It wasn't easy getting my girlfriend to agree to not by junk all the time , even now im chucking chocolate back onto the shelves after shes put it in , you just gotta keep fighting him to hide the crap and stock healthier alternatives.0
