Protein + Fat

Anyone have suggestions as to how to increase your protein intake while decreasing your fat? I don't eat red meat or pork.

What do you eat that combines both?

Choose Protein from lean sources. Eat less of the foods that you eat containing lots of fat

Opening your diary may make it easier for people to make suggestions

You increase protein by cutting out carbs (bread, pasta, rice, cereal) so that you have room for protien.
Relatively low fat protein sources include:
eggs, broccoli, kale, collards, beans, lentils, chic peas, yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese,
flounder, sole, tilapia, turkey jerky, crab, shrimp, lobster.

Egg whites instead of egg, the greek yogurt at 0% fat, and beef jerky (watch out for your sodium). Grilled chicken or turkey is always great if you can cook it yourself. If not, you'll have to watch your sodium for that too.

Why are you trying to avoid fat? Just curious. Research(modern) has shown that eating fats ends up being good for you in the grand scheme of things. Low fat and reduced fat products are often loaded with extra sugar, sodium and chemicals which are far worse for you thsan eating healthier fats. Quality meats, nuts, oils, etc are all great for ya.

Unless you are on a wickedly restricted calorie diet where fat cals add up to fast I wouldnt avoid fats that much.

Nothing wrong with some fat, but many people get a lot easily, and prefer macros more like 40-30-30. Some of us even feel better and more satiated without eating higher fat than that. I think it's too bad when people think that they can never eat anything but boneless, skinless chicken breast and maybe some turkey breast and seafood when trying to lose weight, but switching from a diet made up largely of fattier cuts of meat to some variety and more leaner cuts (having pork chops instead of bacon or sausage, say) can often be a good choice.
