Hello Everyone...Kind of new to MFP, I tried Sparkpeople for awhile, but didn't have the motivation. Then I compared the two and decided to try MFP. Glad I did, my first day I logged my food intake into both sites and found MFP to have such a large food data base. I had to add quite a bit into Sparkpeople's food journal and it became frustrating. So I'm here hoping to continue my journey to health and weight loss.

I've been on this site for almost 2 months now and the only issue I have found is the exercise portion. It does not seem to have alot of those logged in. Example I have an eliptical but I have no way to know how many calories burned when I use it. I do like the food log because most anything I have eaten is on there.

Have you thought about getting a Polar fit watch? This is what I use to calculate calories on my runs. It has a heart rate monitor and works really well.
