New to fitness pal and in need of some tips and motivation to shift a stone or two! :) any help and advice would be greatly appreciated x

    welcome! My favorite tip is "no excuses". It's so easy to fall into that trap. Make a commitment to yourself and stick with it. Don't let anything get in the way. Plan your workouts everyday and put it into your calendar if you need to, but make an appointment every day to workout!

    It is hard to work out every day. But even a workout at home can help. Walking is always good. Healthy eating and exercise is key to success

    Use rest days to actively rest. Don't fall into the "oh it's sunday I can sit on my butt all day and munch" habit (like I'm guilty of) Rest days are important but still go for a 10 minute stroll or meditate or a nice stretching activity. Do something. It keeps your mind in the game for the next day of workouts.
