It's more than weight and looks

I was just going through my medical records and checked my resting heart rate over the last 8 years. As soon as I lost weight 3 years ago, my resting heart rate dropped about 20 beats per minutes - 25%. I was always in the healthy range, but that's pretty impressive.
BTW, I'm not a gym rat. I used to walk every day and I still do.

Shortly before I began losing weight, I was getting some resting heart rates in the 90's, which really bugged me. Now, my resting heart rate is typically 47 and I don't see anything in the 90's even when I'm walking around. I actually think that is due more to exercise than it is to weight loss.0

Timothy - that's fantastic. You have the heartrate of an athlete. Mine is in the low 60's, but I just walk. I'd like to start running again.0
