I know this posts sounds horrible. But the more weight I lose the better I feel about myself and the higher my confidence gets. I have had self esteem issues in the past that I am getting under control and I find myself less tolerant of BS than ever. For the first time in my life I am proud of myself and achieving things I just never thought possible. I won't say who but I assure you this means some huge life changes for me that won't be fun or comfortable. And no I don't mean that I am "too good" for anyone.. Just that in finding my self worth I discovered who truly values me and those who obviously do not. It's hurts but I'll find happiness if it kills me. Anyone have this happen ?

Good for you!!! After a bad breakup many years ago, I started to reevaluate my life and the people in it. I was finally strong enough to let the people who weren't true friends go. You dot need people in your life who are just going to pull you down and treat you badly.

So personally for me, I don't push people out of my life. I'm of the stance that if someone wants to "adapt" to me, that's what they gotta do. If not, they leave on their own. I don't consider myself difficult nor a negative force in anyone's life and hopefully that rubs off on some people. If it doesn't, it's not going to change my disposition. People will always have opinions and many times it's going to be some I don't agree with. But I don't let it affect me because if it does, then they're getting out of it exactly what they were probably looking for...........a reaction. Some people have no control in their current lives and that may be the only thing they do have control of.
