The dead period

At 18 months into this adventure I look at 3 months and average. 6 pounds a month is what I was advised is sustainable and healthy, or muscle sparing.
At first I dropped most added sugar out of my diet and had a big drop in glycogen stores. I eat a moderate carb diet and that happens in that diet plan if you stick to it. It can be deceptive because it is not all fat loss with that first big drop.
The fat loss did follow on as long as I ate less and exercised more while sticking to my nutrition plan. Fat does just go away if I follow those simple rules. It's like magic!
Stick with it!
You are off to a great start. Settle in for the long haul. It will work!0
