In the last 30 days, I have gained and lost the same 2 lbs. BUT I have lost at least an inch everywhere else and I've dropped another dress size.

All you need is a tape measure and a mirror! It's easy to get discouraged by the number on the scale ... it is so satisfying to see when things work!!

    You are so right! Although I have been stuck somewhere between 180lb and 175lb for about a month and a half now, I have to keep pulling my belt tighter and tighter when I wear my jeans that used to cut me half. It's way more gratifying than jumping on the scale. :drinker:

    i have not used the tape measure. but my test shorts have kept me going. i couldnt button them up last year now they are falling off. this really helped me when i felt i wasnt doing well

    I need to do this. I have a long journey ahead of me and when the scale isn't showing what *I* think it should, the inches will be the lifesaver!

    I always forget to take measurements along with my weekly weigh-ins... I should definitely get back on that!
