Why am I hungry 30 mins after I eat? What can I do to help from continuing to snack?

I can't see what you are eating for meals so I can't really suggest anything. Maybe you're not eating enough? Maybe you need to eat different types of foods? For me personally, carbs make me hungry within an hour after I eat them, even slow burning ones. Carbs aren't bad and I know people who essentially live on them and lose weight. For me, that doesn't work. If I eat a meal that consists on 90% lean protein, fiberous vegetables and healthy fats and only 10% carbs (from grains or veggies), it fills me up and keeps me full and energized for hours. I like to call carbs "Flash energy". Meaning, they are not really used to fill me up, they're used to give me a quick energy bump for a work out (fruit/sugars), or to replenish my stores after a work out.

    Hi Kimberly,
It's hard I know. It has been trial and error for me. Make sure you are eating a big enough meal, plenty of protein and a healthy fat. A healthy fat would be nuts, avocado...the fat is what really helps to keep you from being hungry, grumpy, agitated, etc... see if that helps. If you do need to snack, make sure it's healthy,,,fruit, nuts.
    I hope this helps.

Protein, Fiber & Fat will all help you feel fuller for longer.
Also make sure you're drinking enough water.

Eat foods with more volume so that you feel fuller. Or try adding more protein/fat if your meals are mainly carbs.

Upping the protein and fiber content of your meals will likely help.

Make sure your meals have enough fat and protein. That is what makes you satiated.
