Forced Rest Day?

I'm on Tapout XT, and today is Yoga (in other words, a relaxing semi-rest day), however, I just feel like doing more than just yoga. But after going thru this part of the program, I know what the coming days are like, so it's best if I just sick to what is scheduled. My mind wants to do all this stuff, but I can feel the workout pain from yesterday. Anyone feel like this? What would you do?

I'd take the rest day, keep the intensity low and give yourself a chance to recover-your body really does need a break.. Maybe a swim or bike ride (both at a reasonably relaxed pace) will help.0

Your body is just addicted to the endorphin rush of working out. Do your yoga and see how you feel. If you still "must" do something then try some light cross training. Light jog, walk, swim, etc., just something different than what you normally do. You may feel fine today, but not taking a rest day could hurt you in that you have the potential to be overtraining. Rest days are sometimes hard to take, but take them nonetheless.0

if you try and do too much today, you might end up not being able to pull through the next few workouts - then you'll have a forced rest indeed...
when i was starting to run, i thought it would be a good idea to do back to back days - and ended up having to take extra days off to recover - so nothing gained overall...0 -
thanks you guys-- I will take the rest day today with yoga. It'll help me in the long run0
