Hi I am an 18 year old woman who weight 138lbs. Im wondering how much water i should be drinking on a daily basis. I also exercise every day for at least an hour, does this also change how much water i should drink. Also the weather were i live is in the 100s. What is the best amount of water from me to drink? Please and thank you.

you should piss pale yellow to clear...if that's not happening you need to drink more water.

Unless you have some medical or psychological condition that alter your sense of thirst, you can trust it.

Just drink when you're thirsty. You don't have to count anything.

I live in Florida, am around your weight, and exercise 1-2 hours daily. When I first started here, I counted water. Then I realized I drink waaaaaaaaaaaay more water than is recommended and there's no point in counting it as 8 cups aren't enough. I've never been dehydrated.

As for the urine color chart, that's great in terms of lightness, but bear in mind that certain vitamins and minerals can change the color too. If I eat stuff like kale, it's fluorescent green.
