I hear ya!! But remember it's only been 4 months and it took you a lot longer to put that weight on! Don't get discouraged and keep taking care of yourself! I had baby #2 4 months ago and am realizing how much better I feel when I take time for myself to exercise! Makes me a better mom!! Nothing happens quick but just keep focused and it will happen!! You got it mama!0

I am in the same situation. My baby is 6 months old. I've lost 15lbs since my 6week checkup but still have another 15 until I'm back to prebaby and another 15 after that until I'm back to where I was before my 3 year old was born. Sometimes it's very discouraging to have boxes of clothes that are 3 sizes too small! And working out with kids is EXHAUSTING! Sometimes it's better not to work out, and just focus on diet. That keeps me from getting too worn down. And when I do work out I have to remember to take it easy - half an hour max and not high intensity - otherwise I will be grouchy and tired and not have the energy to take care of my kids. And that's my main job right now! I just keep telling myself: that small sacrifices now will pay off in the future, I'm going to be a good roll model for my kids, and I really don't need that piece of chocolate or beer at the end of the day to make me feel better! I'll feel better if I don't have them.
Some things I'm doing:
Tracking calories - I've found that trying to loose 1lb a week is the best plan for me. I have enough calories to keep up my mood and energy but I can still see progress.
I just started by free trial of Daily Burn which seems like it has some good programs. Today I did a 12 minute butt workout and since the kids were good for that I did another 10 minute ab workout.
I get cravings a lot (when the baby is teething and grouchy and I really want to eat a bag of cookies...) so my new plan is to do 10 squats and 10 sit-ups when I get a craving. I'm going to see if that helps fight them off.
Good luck to all you other Moms out there!0
